UNWLA, INC was organized in 1925 in New York City whose goals were to inform the free world about events in Ukraine, support and preserve Ukrainian identity, culture, heritage and ethnic traditions in the United States. Branch 54 in Wilmington has been active since its inception in 1958. Today we continue to live up to the founder’s goals and ideals.
We support social welfare, helping wounded soldiers and their families in Ukraine, culture and education – scholarship program for students from grade school to university in Ukraine and Brazil.
